I particularly like the look of mason jars for a rustic or vintage inspired wedding but they are really appropriate for any style.
The following collection of mason jar centerpieces show examples in a variety of different themed weddings. All of them are easy to put together and fairly budget friendly. If you know someone who has a collection of vintage mason jars, you could be in luck. Otherwise, new ones are reasonable to buy from a craft or grocery store in packs of about a dozen.
1. Twine, lace or paper wrapped mason jars via Bravo Bride
Mason jars are quickly dressed up when they are wrapped in twine, lace or a section of an old book page. Simply fill with fresh flowers and you have a beautiful rustic chic display.
2. Painted mason jars by Joy’s Hope
If you would like to add a bit more color to your tables, you could paint your jars to match your wedding color. I have done this technique and would recommend painting the inside of the jar instead of the outside to give a nice glossy look to the finish. It also makes handling the surface easier.
3. Mason jar photo display by August and After
Here is a unique idea for displaying photos of the happy couple at each of the guest tables. It’s also a nice way for guests to see different sides of the bride and groom especially if they don’t know one or the other very well.
4. Mason jar table numbers by Cake Chooser
Tie the lid of a mason jar around the neck of the jar with ribbon and stencil on a number for quick and easy centerpiece table numbers.
